Credit Valley Artisans Christmas Show & Sale

Art show and Sale in Cedarvale Cottage in Cedarvale Park at the corner of Maple and Main in Georgetown. This is an annual sale - run entirely by the artists who have created professional quality items - Paintings, Weaving, Ceramics, Stained Glass, Jewelry, and more to show and sell to Halton Hills and area. Come and find your unique Canadian made Christmas gift and you will be supporting your local artists.

United Way Holiday House Tour

United Way Halton & Hamilton presents the 2017 Halton Hills Holiday House Tour. Join us on Saturday, November 18th from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and tour 6 beautiful homes in Georgetown and Glen Williams, all decked out for Christmas! Tour each home once during tour hours, and also visit the Christmas Market at St. Alban's Anglican Church in Glen Williams. There you will find Vendors selling items for Christmas; a Bake Table; Raffles for gorgeous Theme baskets; and grab a coffee/tea and a muffin or a cup of soup! This year we are teaming up with Georgetown Kia - They will be collecting toys for their toy drive at the home located at 540 Main Street in Glen Williams. All proceeds from the house tour event will help to fund social service programs for the residents of Halton Hills!

Tickets are $30.

Acton Winter Carnival

The Acton Winter Carnival is an annual winter celebration that brings the entire Halton Hills community together!

This year the event will happen on the last weekend in January.

Come to the Acton Winter Carnival for some great family fun! Pancake Breakfast at the Acton Town Hall Centre, outdoor events at Prosect Park and Chili Cook-off and closing ceremonies at the Acton Town Hall Centre

Light up the Hills

Come out and celebrate the 10th Season of Light Up the Hills!

Bring your friends and family out for a fun evening of entertainment, treats, and lots of community spirit! "Ignition" is held in Georgetown, the site of the original "Tree of Hope" and is the start of an entire month of sparkling trees and lighting displays depicting the winter season. Come out early to take advantage of this opportunity to be part of something spectacular!

At 7:00PM all the lights will be turned on! Not only will the trees light up but so will the eyes of children and adults alike - it's truly wonderful! Walk around the park with a hot chocolate and other treats and take in all the spectacular displays. Santa Claus joins us see the lights go on, too!

Join us on December 1 and help us "Light Up The Hills"!

Can't join us on the 1st? Don't worry, the lights will be on for viewing every night until January!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa Claus is coming to town on November 18th! Come out and welcome him by attending the Acton & Georgetown Santa Claus Parades!

The Acton parade is hosted by the Acton Firefighters Association and starts at 1pm. The parade route runs from Queen Street and Acton Blvd through town ending at Prospect Park.

The Georgetown parade is run by the Lions Club and starts at 5 PM. The parade route is: Guelph Street from Sinclair to Mill Street and Charles Street to the Fairgrounds.

Holiday Magic on Main & Mill/Holiday Market

Come out and celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Georgetown on November 24th!

Enjoy horse drawn wagon rides, holiday music and the warmth and hospitality of the many businesses of Downtown Georgetown. This holiday event will surely put you in the mood for the season! 6-9 pm.

The holiday market returns to Knox Presbyterian Church. The markets open at 3 PM and will run until 8:30 PM. Held in the warmth of Knox Presbyterian Church come and see some of our favorite Farmers Market vendors.

THE 3rd ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN GEORGETOWN - HANDMADE CRAFT FAIR will be back in Georgetown just in time for the holidays! November 12 from 9 AM - 4 PM at Christ the King Secondary School.
