Wingfield's Progress, The Gala

"Beattie electrifies the stage." On February 17, 2018 Canada’s own Walt Wingfield comes, by special arrangement and for the first time, to Halton Hills in a Gala Presentation at the Acton Town Hall Centre, a heritage gem of a theatre in the heart of Acton. Wingfield's Progress is the second play in the series of seven which have entertained audiences across Canada and internationally since 1985. Hearty country suppers in two neighbouring landmark churches, Knox Presbyterian and St. Alban’s Anglican, will precede the theatrical performance, enhancing the country theme of the play. Walt Wingfield will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter, laughter about the world we live in where the city dreamers meet the weathered farmers and the two groups find ways to come together to meet community challenges! Proceeds from the Gala will support the Concerned Residents Coalition.
