Following the success of last year's Sticker Map Campaign, we're excited to introduce the Halton Hills Discovery Pass — a FREE, mobile-exclusive digital pass designed to help visitors explore and support local tourism businesses in Halton Hills - better yet, no app download is required!

The Discovery Pass will feature visitor check-ins, exclusive incentives, and grand prize rewards - all aimed to promote Halton Hills as the best place to visit, drive foot traffic to our unique attractions and boost sales for your business. The program will run during two seasonal campaigns, facilitated through the Visit Halton Hills website utilizing the Bandwango platform.

Why Join as a Halton Hills Business?

General Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Be located in Halton Hills, ON (Georgetown, Acton, Glen Williams, Norval, or surrounding rural areas).
✔ Cater to tourists, visitors, and day-trippers (offer experiences, shopping, dining, or attractions that appeal beyond the local customer base).
✔ Have a physical storefront that is open to the public. Preference provided to walk-in businesses. (home-based businesses are not eligible).
✔ Be open at least two days per week during the campaign period, including one day on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
✔ Offer an exclusive customer incentive valid for the duration of the program (this can be updated at any time).
✔ Promote the Discovery Pass on Instagram and/or Facebook (minimum 3 posts during the campaign).
✔ Contribute to the grand prize experience package.
✔ Display Discovery Pass marketing materials (e.g., posters, QR codes) in-store.
Deadline to Apply:
Complete the intake form by March 28, 2025 (11:59 pm) to be considered. Limited space is available, with only 25 spots per seasonal pass (total 50 participants across the two campaigns). Selection will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. We aim to have a variety of experiences and businesses represented through this program and will select businesses based on the goals of the program.

| How do visitors check in at my business? |
| Visitors use their mobile pass to check in and show staff their screen to redeem offers. Each business will have a unique PIN number associated with their business. |
| Can I participate in both the Summer & Fall campaigns? |
| Depending on business interest, we may allow additional registration for both seasons but are aiming to promote a variety of businesses through this campaign. |
| How does the grand prize work? |
| The grand prize is an ultimate experience featuring the local participating businesses. The more businesses a customer visits, the more points they earn for multiple grand prize entries. |
