Throughout the month of December, Halton Hills will be featuring a number of specialty holiday markets that are the perfect balance of shopping, dining, and exploring. On Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th, walk the main street of Glen Williams as it transforms into a winter wonderland. Nestled along the banks of the credit river, explore over 30 artisans and craftspeoples’ creations. If you stop by on Sunday, sip on a hot drink while you browse through local artisans and vendors at the Williams Mill Creative Arts Studios!
In Georgetown, find the Holiday Markets on Saturday December 3rd and Saturday December 10th from 11:00am to 3:00pm! Head down to to Main Street for handmade crafts and local foods. Hosted by the Georgetown BIA, this market alongside local downtown shops have all you need to get your holiday season needs!
In Acton, the Downtown market is hosted on Acton Town Hall Centre 19 Willow Street North (11am - 4pm) and the Acton Roxy Centre, 6 Mill Street East (9:30am - 3:30pm). Grab a hot drink after the Santa Claus Parade and browse through two holiday markets with local artisans and vendors.

Delicious local food is not difficult to find in Halton Hills. Try out The Copper Kettle Pub for a delicious menu and wonderful ambiance. If you are visiting Georgetown after December 1st, take your hot cocoa and family and friends for a stroll through the “Light Up the Hills” annual winter lightning festival. From December 1 to January 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day. If you are travelling around Halton Hills, there are two other parks: Shelagh Law Parkette in Glen Williams and Acton Sports Park in Acton, with light displays. Experience Light Up the Hills free of charge and without the hassle of making reservations; just show up and enjoy!
