Get ready for a weekend of finger-lickin’ fun as the Northern Heat Rib Series returns to Georgetown for the Georgetown Ribfest. Savour the best BBQ ribs at the Georgetown leg of the Northern Heat Rib Series! Indulge in perfectly cooked ribs from the best BBQ Ribbers around, offering a flavour-packed adventure unlike any other.
At the Northern Heat Rib Series events, you will find winning samplings of pork and beef ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork and BBQ chicken. There will also be an array of other food options, including festival favourites like cornbread, cotton candy, poutine and vegetarian options. This year, their festival featured five award winning competition BBQ teams, including Kentucky Smokehouse, Louisiana BAR-B-QUE, Memphis Blazin’ BBQ and Texas Jack’s BBQ Pit.
Along with all of the amazing BBQ they have to offer, you can also check our the beer market, enjoy live music all weekend and vote for your favourite ribs & sauce. With fun for the whole family this is an event that you will not want to miss.
The Georgetown Ribfest is running from July 5th to July 7th at the Trafalgar Sports Park. They are open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday July 5th, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday July 6th, and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m Sunday July 7th. Admission for this event is $2 per person, kids under 5 are free.
